PhotoProject completed documenting children's lifes in war torn Syria
The first part of the photoproject "The Man of Tomorrow", documenting the life of Syrian children in war torn, rebel held part of Syria, was completed.Please follow the link.
The man of tomorrow is forged by his battles of Today". In northern Syria, after 20 months of conflict and more then 40.000 dead, the children of today, learn to live with the war, the violence and its consequences, has lack of resources. Life is transformed although a child will always be a child. In this way some of the The Man of Tomorrow in Syria, learn to survive, by searching for scrap metal in order to resell it. Others stay focus, with their attention, on the war aspects, becoming this way great fans of the rebel fighters, imitating their attitudes and gestures at all times. This ones, keep caring toy guns everywhere, imitating at times also the expressions or the imagine expression of a fighter while shooting at enemy positions. The never seen before violence impose on the civilian population of Syria, by continuous Government bombing and shelling of resident civilian areas, brings no only a life of fear and of struggle to survive on the basic needs of life, has food and shelter, for everywhere Syrian, man, woman, or child, has a family member that was killed in this conflict by either snipper fire or shelling, but a life of trauma.
The Man of Tomorrow in Syria will be Traumatized Man.
Traumatized people struggle on a daily base for inner and mental balance, the experts claim. This are the people the world will meet. This are The Man of Tomorrow.

Portuguese Immigration in the UK
